My name is Ms. Garcia. I am your L.K. Hall Art teacher! I have been at L.K. Hall for 5 years. Going on 6 years now! How time flies when you're making art!
Soy la maestra Garcia, la maestra de arte. Llevo 5 años en L.K. Hall. Voy ahora por el sexto año!¡Cómo vuela el tiempo cuando estás haciendo arte!

I grew up in Dallas, Tx . I attended Dan D. Rogers Elementary school. #DISDproud This is where I first sparked an interest in Art. I participated in the Art and Drama club. Putting on plays like the Jungle Book. I later went on to apply and attend Longfellow Academy and Booker T. Washington HS for the Visual and Performing Arts.
I am the proud daughter of two immigrant parents and know the difficulty of the struggle to become college ready. Financially, I saw it being very difficult but had the best support of my family and teachers that started me on the path of community college at Collin County Community College. I later graduated with two bachelor degrees from the University of North Texas- Bachelor of Fine Arts/Education and Studio Arts/ Ceramics #MeanGreen #Eagle
My dream is to one day also have my own business. A place where artists of all ages can create but also a place of relaxation and de-stressing from our crazy busy lives.

Poniendo obras como El Libro de la Selva. Despues, aplique y asisti a la Academia Longfellow y Booker T. Washington HS para las Artes Visuales y Escénicas.
Soy la orgullosa hija de dos padres inmigrantes y conozco la dificultad de la lucha para llegar a la universidad. En la manera financiera, vi que era muy difícil, pero tenía el mejor apoyo de mi familia y maestros que me inició en el camino de la universidad comunitaria en Collin County Community College. Luego me gradué con dos licenciaturas de la Universidad del Norte de Texas. #MeanGreen #Eagle
Mi sueño es que un día también tener mi propio negocio. Un lugar donde artistas de todas las edades pueden crear, pero también un lugar de relajación de nuestras vidas locas.
